Pool with views One of the 5 double bedrooms with en-suite CASA DON CARLOS - We are a guesthouse that offers our guests; space, rest, nature and culture. Casa Don Carlos can also be the start of a holiday tour in Andalusia. First acclimate at our place and then drive along the country for example Ronda, Sevilla, Jerez de la Frontera and Cádiz. Afterwards another few days relaxing at our pool before going back to your home country. Guesthouse Casa Don Carlos is also suitable for a short holiday break, the climate is all year long wonderful. A midweek or long weekend, flights are not expensive and in a few hours you are sitting along the poolside with a drink. The nearest towns are Alhaurin el Grande and Coin, which are about 5 and 10 minutes drive. Both Towns have lots of Supermarkets, Shops, Banks and also an Open-Air Market once a week. Reservations can only be accepted after a down payment of 25% of the total amount of your stay. The remaining part of the payment 1 week before arrival.

Full refunds of down payment on all cancellations up to 4 weeks prior to arrival.

Casa Don Carlos contains:Great living with a fireplace for the rare cold evenings. We have satellite TV so you can watch BBC and the continuing story of your favourite soap.

In a good organized kitchen Carlo will cook a lunch and/or dinner.

The hall has a small desk with the information about Alhaurín el Grande and Andalusia. For your laptop or PDA is WIFI available.

Outside
Next to our Casa is our cosy plaza, our living room outside.
Also here we have a kitchen with a barbecue, a large dining table, and several places to site in the sun or shade.

A little bit lower at our plot (10.000 m²) at the foot of rock-wall you'll find the swimming pool (10x5m) and sun-beds, your towels and bathrobe already hanging at your room.

In the slopes of the other mountain we planning to plant for example olive- and almond trees, orange, lemon etc.

About us
We try to make you feel that you’re at home but not at your home: at ours! We want to make everything as comfortable as it can be.
We Carlo and Ronald are from the south provinces of The Netherlands: Brabant.
We are well known about our hospitality. We are partners for almost 19 years and we are now starting a new business Guesthouse Casa Don Carlos a dream comes true after 15 years. We love Spain and Andalusia practically.

The Beach is a 30-minutes drive

Malaga Airport a 35-minutes drive

Golf
For the golfer there are many courses to choose from.

The local ones are Alhauring golf which was designed by Severiano Ballesteros and is 15 minutes by car and Lauro golf which is about 20 minutes.
La Cala Golf
The two golf courses at La Cala are the main attraction of the resort. Both, La Cala North (Par 73) and La Cala South (Par 72) have been designed by North American architect Cabell B. Robinson. La Cala Resort is an exclusive residential and recreational complex of approximately 1,000 acres situated between the 'Sierra de Mijas' National Park and the Mediterranean.

Skiing
The Sierra Nevada is a 2.1/2 hours drive where it is possible to ski and snowboard.

Further Details

This area is also well known for Mountain Walks, Cycling, or Horse Riding, with stables that cater for the beginner and the professional.
