Located in the quiet outskirts of the pretty mountain village of El Burgo and leading straight into the countryside, within walking distance of all amenities including village pool and many excellent traditional Spanish restaurants and Tapas bars where you can experience the atmosphere of a truly Andalucian white village. El Burgo is situated in the heart of the National Park of Sierra de Las Nieves an area declared a world heritage site by UNESCO and a protected biosphere with a variety of Flora and Fauna providing a perfect base to explore and enjoy this area of outstanding natural beauty.

Change over day
Usual changeover day Friday but flexible depending on time of year and availability
Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service
All linen and towels are provided. Over one week stays change of laundry and cleaning is weekly.
Booking Notes
We ask for 50% payment on booking the house and 50% on arrival.
ACCOMMODATION
Bedrooms
2 spacious bedrooms with stunning views 1 with large double antique bed the other with 2 extremely comfortable single beds.
Bathrooms
The bathroom has a large walk-in mosaic shower.
Kitchen
The converted stable now the kitchen is fully equipped and includes large fridge freezer, full sized oven and granite work surfaces, and we have provided a good selection of cooking utensils including nice china, cutlery and glassware.
Utility room
Washing machine, gas water heater and storage area.
Iron and ironing board.
Living rooms
Downstairs Ronda style terracotta floor tiles run throughout. The invitingly comfortable sitting room, with unique open fireplace has a cast iron log burning stove for those cosy winter evenings a separate dining room seats four.
Other
Upstairs mezzanine lounge to sit and enjoy a favourite book or choose a good film to watch.
Notes on Accommodation
All electric, water and gas included. We provide a starter food pack and starter wood basket. Not suitable for very young children. Non-smoking.
Outside
Sun blessed where once the mule was kept is a courtyard sanctuary, with its original cobble stoned floor and various pot plants. Sit under the wisteria covered pergola to dine or just sit and relax. The large village pool open from June until September is set in its own gardens and is within 5-mins walking distance.
Coast/Beach
For a day out in the car within an hour you can reach the beaches of San Pedro De Alcantara and Marbella and sit and have a lovely sea food lunch in one of many cheringuitos (typical beach restaurant).
Travel
Nearest airport Malaga 50km. Nearest ferry port Malaga 50km. Nearest railway station Ronda 20km.
Historic Ronda and the beautiful Malaga lake district 20-mins.
Golf
There are various golf courses within 45-mins.
Skiing
For the keen skiier Sierra Nevada above Granada is 2½ hours drive away.
Further Details
The village of El Burgo shadowed by the sierras, was once the haunt of revered bandit Paso Largos otherwise (big steps). He’s long gone, the soaring eagles and shy Ibex remain in this terrain of the walker, birdwatcher and lover of the quiet life with it’s many marked trails from gentle walks to long hikes along the river Turron and its many rock pools.

El Burgo - is a village in the province of Málaga, Andalucia, Spain. It is located in the Parque Natural Sierra de las Nieves.
In February they have a carnaval. Saint Augustin is celebrated at the end of August with traditional costumes, music and religious singing.
